Register a Professional Corporation in Ontario

A Professional Corporation is a corporation that carries on a professional practice. Professional corporations are governed by the Business Corporations Act, as well as the by-laws of the governing bodies of the relevant professions.
Examples: Professionals that can incorporate their practices are: Medical Doctors, Dentists, Veterinarians, Chartered Accountants, Certified General Accountants, Lawyers, etc.

You can propose a name for your Professional Corporation. If the name is available and satisfies the name rules of the province we will proceed to register with that name. A NUANS report is also required for this choice. A NUANS report is an official name search report issued by Industry Canada for your name. Note: Suitable for corporation who wish to have shareholders with voting power & non-voting power. Shareholders with voting power are the professionals while non-voting shareholders can be spouse or immediate family members.
